PSI, the Global testing company, which became big news on the EFL testing scene when it became one of just five assessment bodies with an exam accepted on the UK government’s Secure English Language Test (SELT) list, has been busy forming international partnerships.
On March 8 it announced it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International House World Organisation (IHWO) which will see its Skills for English Test, which, as a SELT, can be taken around the world for UK visa purposes, offered in 150 IH schools in 50 countries. Skills for English will now reach 200,000 IH students around the world. IH schools outside the UK will now be able to join the worldwide network of secure PSI test centres, according to Henry Tolley, PSI’s Vice President of Global English Language Tests.
Just one week later, US-owned PSI announced another feather in its cap, with a partnership with Edvoy, a digital platform for students looking to study abroad. Under the deal, users will be able to book a Skills for English test direct from their Edvoy App.
