Rakesh Bhanot has visited Slovakia over 25 times during the last 10 years and has
done some voluntary teaching in all sectors from pre-school to university level in various parts of the country. He has also contributed to several summer camps (on behalf of SOL and The Bridge) for teachers of English, as well as delivering workshops at national
conferences, in Slovakia.
Born in India, Rakesh grew up in England and began teaching English in Spain in 1972. Since then, he has been involved in various aspects of English language teaching in many countries. He is the founder editor of Language Issues, the journal of NATECLA, National Association for Teaching English and Community Languages to Adults.
