Ninety-eight thousand students can’t be wrong, right? That’s the number of survey respondents that inform the latest rankings of the QS Best Student Cities. And the winner is… (envelope, please…) London, which wins for the fourth consecutive time.
What makes it so popular? It comes down to four important criteria: the sheer quantity of world-class universities in the capital; it’s 98.5 out of 100 for positive feedback from those who have studied there; the career prospects for graduates; and, finally, the ‘openness to international students’, meaning there’s a warm welcome to those from around the globe.
The top 10 city rankings for students looks like this:
1. London
2a & 2b. Munich/Seoul
4. Zurich
5. Melbourne
6. Berlin
7. Tokyo
8. Paris
9. Sydney
10. Edinburgh
