Free teaching resources

Digital Learning Associates (DLA) is a global provider of video and learning resources for English language teaching. Its Ready to Run teaching videos won the 2019 ELTons Award for Innovation in Learner Resources and a 2021 ELTons’s Judge’s Commendation for Equality, Diversity an Inclusion.

It’s now making its B1 video of school children in Ukraine, made just before war broke out, free to use. It is also making the support teaching materials for the video available free.

In the video, pupils at a village school in Ukraine show their pre-war projects. The language focus is 1. Environment, 2. Deciding to change things. The film also supports young people’s resilience and showcases positive responses to emotions.

Education organisations and teachers can host it on any learning site as part of a Ukraine response. Please email DLA if you use the film and share your feedback. Download or stream it here*, and follow the links to the Resource Packs.

Ready to Run videos are available for free in the NILE’s Members Area. Visit https://www.nile-elt.com/catalog?pagename=NILE-Membership
