Game on

English Adventures with Cambridge, an interactive educational computer game, has been shortlisted for the K12 Award in this year’s Reimagine Awards.

The game is set in a VR world that’s been developed in collaboration with Minecraft: Education Edition and is similarly based on a story theme. This takes the user through different challenges and scenarios where they use English language to solve puzzles, interact with characters and progress through to a conclusion.

The Reimagine Awards winners will be announced on the last day of the Reimagine Conference, which this year takes place from 6-10 December. The awards are open to innovative educational creators anywhere in the world and it’s the largest awards within the education sector. Entrants might be from startups, teachers or others involved in education. The Global Winners receive US$50,000, and the Bronze, Silver and Gold winners can present their entry at the conference.

To date, English Adventures with Cambridge has been played over 300,000 times in 170 countries.
