EU unis offer chance to study in English

The Erasmus Mundus is still working for Pinoys, who can get financial aid through the programme to study in the EU. Further, universities within the European Union are keen to attract Filipino students, as the European Higher Education Fair gets set to open for two days in Manila, on 1 and 2 October.

As over two-thirds of Filipinos speak English, top countries to study in within the EU zone are the Netherlands, because most of the population there speaks English, and Poland, where English is widely spoken and international students can be taught in English.

“I believe the quality of education in Poland is really high or even at a par with more of the popular European countries and, unlike those other countries, studying in Poland won’t break your bank as much,” Samantha Balboa, an alumna of Poland’s Poznań University of Economics and Business (pictured), told the Philippine News Agency.
